Get ready to kick off the festive season in Drogheda! The annual Christmas Light Switch-On will dazzle the streets of Drogheda on Friday, 15th November, sponsored by Drogheda Credit Union and organized by Love Drogheda BIDS.
The festive fun begins from 5:30 PM on West Street with free family activities including balloon modelling, carol singing, festive ballet, and Christmas characters!
Dress up for Drogheda Credit Union’s Christmas Jumper Competition and win prizes for the most festive outfits, including the ‘Most Jolly Jumper’ and ‘Most Festive Family Costume’. There will be giveaways, spot prizes, and surprises throughout the evening.
Santa will be stopping off to switch on the town lights and he is looking for help! Three lucky children will help Santa light up the town. We’re inviting all children under 12(under 6, under 8, and under 12) to grab their colouring pencils and get creative. Simply pick up our Christmas poster from Drogheda Credit Union, Love Drogheda BID, or Drogheda Library, or download it from www.lovedrogheda.ie. Entries must be in before Wednesday, November 13th.
