Member Update: Your Current Account Debit Card is Changing to Visa
We’re pleased to let our current account members know that we’re making the move from Mastercard to Visa Debit.
Over the coming weeks, all current account holders will receive a new Visa Debit card in the post. There’s nothing you need to do until your new card arrives.
What does this mean for you?
Your new Visa Debit card offers the same convenient everyday banking, with additional features including:
- Worldwide acceptance at millions of locations
- Visa Secure for added protection when shopping online
- Compatibility with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Google Wallet
- A new portrait card design with improved accessibility features, including an easy-insert notch for visually impaired users
- Clear printed card details and a simplified layout
Your existing Mastercard will continue to work as normal until you activate your new Visa Debit card.
